Description

For our second break episode, we are picking through the body of thought that makes up theosophy, a mystical system of belief developed in the Victorian era. A bundle of spiritual Orientalism, awe and terror at the newly strange physical world and old-fashioned conspiracy theory, theosophy has made its mark on the world of Unjust Depths as one of the inspirations for psionics, auras, and the exceptionally alive world of Aer. We pick our way through the insane racism and allegations that the Moon hates us to find a disturbingly familiar kernel at its (mostly stolen) heart. There’s also news in the Madihaverse!

If you want to send us questions or messages, drop into the Abnormal Mapping discord, or hang in the Unjust Depths fan discord over here.

To read along, you can find the novel, both online chapter by chapter and as handy epub downloads, at unjustdepths.com.
