Description

Before I begin my pronunciation on season 2, I need to clarify the differences between "pronunciation" and "accent". Most of my adult students think they mean the same. However, these terms aren’t synonymous. In fact, you cannot improve your accent without improving your pronunciation first.  Let's define these linguistic terms. An accent is a regional or international variation in how particular sounds are spoken is referred to as an accent. (listen to the podcast for examples). Pronunciation refers to how vowel sounds, consonants, and word parts known as syllables are said.  In the following Episode 3 of season 1, We will write clear learning goals by answering why improving your pronunciation is necessary.
