Professor Ashe is also the author of "Power. Language, and Identity: Signification in The Works of Geneve Smitherman," a chapter in the forthcoming anthology, Postcolonial Composition Pedagogy: Using The Culture of Marginalized Students To Teach Writing.Dr. Monique Akassi's Paradigm Shift will air every Thursday, beginning 7/7/11 at 1:00 p.m. The show will serve as a forum for educators, writers, & artist.Topics will focus on controversial issues on a local, national,& a global level regarding education for students, the teachers, parents, and society at large.
