And So It Begins...

Late last night United States President Donald J. Trump revealed on his Truth Social account that he has filed a defamation lawsuit against The New York Times where he is seeking $15 billion in damages.

Just the other day, our gorgeous First Lady forced that vile rag, The Daily Beast, into a humiliation ritual as the outlet retracted a story and apologized for having run it. That story claimed that Epstein hooked Trump up with Melania, relying on an account published in a book that noted fantasist, author Michael Wolff, who’s fantastical tall tales are possibly even more celebrated on the Left than the ones Bob Woodward has been regaling them with since the 1970s.
The Daily Beast quickly got a letter from Melania’s lawyers and I’m sure had few illusions regarding how events would unfold if they decided to stand by the story that Wolff had spun to them in a courtroom.
They’d lose. Badly. Even in New York city. And they knew it.
My research shows me that Melania would’ve filed her defamation lawsuit in the NYC **federal** court, since she is not a resident of New York.
It’s not talked about all that much, and a national spotlight hasn’t been thrown on it, but a quiet revolution has been underway for several years now to remove that shield that has allowed the Fake News to openly trade in vicious smears, endless gaslighting and targeted campaigns of slander.
The days outlets like the NYT’s could repeatedly publish known fictions to defame targets are ending. And that’s a very good thing.
Was It Really That Long Ago?
Remember those awful dim dark days of yore from 2009-2022, when The Censorship State Machine was rolled out for its test runs here in America?
And what a big part of The Censorship States’ key apparatus all those lying diabolical ‘fact checkers’ were?
