The 2001 Food & Wine Best New Chef and much-lauded chef, author, and TV personality joined Communal Table from her home on Long Island to talk about the ever-changing role of chefs, cooking for pleasure, coping in a tough kitchen, and the free online cooking classes she's teaching to celebrate the release of the film A Writer’s Odyssey and the Year of the Ox.
