She has been a nurse for 10 years, spending the majority of that time working with the neonatal population. She has her Masters in Nursing Education and focuses her time on creating mental health protection education for her unit’s newest hires.
We also get into mental health obstacles, personal family dynamics surrounding overcoming trauma, guilt & hardships. Family boundaries and personal growth. We also talk about connecting with patients based on empathy.
Her most recent work on her NICU Orientation Journal was featured as a poster presentation at the annual Academy of Neonatal Nursing conference in 2022.
