EPISODE 65: Anton van der Mere is a South African classical crossover tenor, songwriter, recording artist, actor, producer and director, based in Essex, United Kingdom. He has a law degree from the University of Port Elizabeth (NNMU), where he also studied classical singing, and studied acting and dance at the Stageworld Performing Arts School. He performed for Queen Elizabeth II as well as President Nelson Mandela when the Queen visited South Africa in 1995. Anton has also performed around the world in the UK and Europe as well as on the prestigious Carnival UK ships as the headlining act. In 2013 he was  scouted for both Britain’s Got Talent and UK X-Factor with his own composition, “Vision.” antonvandermere.co.za
