In the book New Perspectives on Human Abortion, written in part by Thomas Hill, it says that a liberal estimate of the number of illegal abortions before Roe v. Wade was 210,00 per year; a conservative estimate, 89,000. Within seven years of legalization, abortion totals jumped to over 1.5 million annually!
