Autism is still a mystery in many ways. Many cognition tests rely on an autistic individual to respond by means of their motor system. We know that autism, more often than not, brings extreme motor and sensory challenges for individuals. Perhaps we need to keep our minds open to different ways of approaching this process of assessment; in hopes of a more accurate reading of these individuals' cognition levels as well as understanding how to better aid their challenges presented by autism.
