Sam Martin, Assistant Headteacher at Kennet School, Thatcham, tells us about their approach to delivering extra-curricular activities.

Kennet School is Artswork's Artsmark Creativity Champion lead school for one of the Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes groups.

Sam shares tips for supporting full-time and part-time staff's wellbeing, while making time for extra-curricular activities, developing buy-in and balancing the workloads that everyday school life brings, and different ways to format extra-curricular activities to mould them around the staff and pupils time, such as workshops, small-scale projects and using external facilitators.
