In this episode, we continue the journey about Man. Today we look at the HEART of man. What is the heart of Man and what does the word of God say about it.

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Jeremiah 17:9 

The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand it?

Matthew 15:18-20

But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornication, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man."

Mark 7:21-23

For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”

Genesis 6:5-7

Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, 'I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.'

Psalm 51:10

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Luke 6:45

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

Ezekiel 36:26

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

Proverbs 4:23

Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.

Matthew 22:37

And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

Proverbs 27:19

As in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects the man.

Proverbs 3:5

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

Psalms 119:10

With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!
