This is part two of my Stop Asian Hate series, and it will be the last one for now until May. I said this in the first episode with Tianna and Nikki, but let this mini series be your introduction to May where we will go further into AAPI history, Asian American Racism, and the Culture of being an Asian-Americans in America. But in this episode, Jackie and I get personal with our experiences when dealing with micro-aggressive comments like being a stereotypical "model minority student" and how it impacted our identity heavily. Our conversation also goes into the struggles of rewriting Asian-American narratives while navigating our privileges and handling the damages of being whitewashed.
