Desperation will lead to self-destruction. Don’t wait until it hurts so bad that you feel as if you have to create a natural disaster to get someone’s attention. As human beings, we crave love & attention. Especially if you've been hurt by the actions of a stranger or someone close to you. Be careful when it comes to choosing "your person". The person that is supposed to be there for you while you're hurting.

Some people come into your life to restore what was lost & broken. While others will simply take advantage of your vulnerability. I was lost & confused. I couldn't connect or socialize with people without feeling paranoid. The flashbacks of being abused & or sexually assaulted are not easy to cope with. It left a huge hole in my heart that could only be healed by a shot of tequila or whiskey. I was acting out and my reckless behavior almost took my life & my child.
