Assumptions Vs Instincts
Update: 2021-03-13
Description
Oftentimes we find ourselves caught wondering if our innate thoughts in response to observations are instincts of warning or toxic assumptions. The line of separation is logical reasoning: instincts are typically based on past experiences backed up by evidence, whereas assumptions are often cleared up with context. While too much second thinking may open you up to rationalizing behaviors you think at first blush as toxic, never offering up your thoughts to context will lead down a path of ignance (ignorance may be changed by choice of education, ignance is willing choice to never evolve).
