“Miss USA 2020 is...MISSISSIPPI!” Asya Branch is a woman of firsts. As the first Black woman to win the Miss Mississippi USA crown and the first from her state to win Miss USA, Asya is set up to leave quite the legacy.
Jesse Ladoue McMullen, our Queen of Coaching, and Cara Mund, Miss America 2018, are here to tell you all about Asya’s experiences as the child of an incarcerated parent, her pageant journey at both Miss America and Miss USA, and how she’s combined the two to promote criminal justice reform at the national level.
