This week, we meet Blakely Chorpenning, the multi-genre author of “Souled Out”, “Sinner” and “Tin Moon”. Blakely’s writer-story begins with a fantastic 9th grade creative writing teacher (thank you Mrs. Kline!) and is soon followed by the merger of different small stories into her first book. Blakely explains how she is truly a pantser who loves for her characters to surprise her with unexpected story twists and fantasy elements. We also discuss her decision to self-publish after finding an agent, and how she discovers her stories.
