Authorities release video, issue reward for 17-year-old who escaped CHOP custody

- Police have released new surveillance video of the 17-year-old murder suspect who escaped custody after a trip to the hospital Wednesday — and as KYW Newsradio Crime and Justice reporter Kristen Johanson explains, authorities now have a man in custody that they believe was the teen's getaway driver.

Philadelphia firefighters and police responded to reports of a fire and gunshots around 3:30 a.m. along the 3800 block of North Marshall Street. After the blaze on the porch was put out, investigators say they discovered several bullet holes in the front door of the home.
