The Colorado Avalanche season opener is over and done with. While a lot can be learned from it, the best thing for the Avs to do is move on as quickly as possible from it. Sometimes the schedule helps you out, and that might be the case here as the Avs can get back on track against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday. A team they should defeat.
