Hi Makan Kakis, this is a hidden gem in the true sense of the word - tucked away in the basement of a building perhaps better known now for its learning centres. Not far from Newton is Balmoral Plaza along Bukit Timah Road, where you'll find Shanghai Pudong Kitchen, an institution that's been serving up tasty dishes like dumplings, drunken chicken and fresh fish for more than two decades now.
