Description
In this episode, Nate and Rachel interview Adhieu Arok. A native of South Sudan, Adhieu immigrated to Utah as a child from a refugee camp in Kenya. She spent much of her childhood adjusting to the cultural differences she encountered in her new home. She earned a Bachelor's in Public Health at BYU and a Master's of Public Health at Boise State University. In this episode, she shares her experiences around important topics such as colorism, sexism, and nationalism.
