On this episode Carly and I welcome Nashville rocker and songwriter Bones Owens to The Troubadour.  Bones has written with the Bon Jovi, collaborated with Jelly Roll and he takes a self-described Chameleon-like approach to music.  Fact is, just before we recorded this episode Bones had been in Texas writing songs and fishing with Koe Wetzel and some of the Whiskey Myers crew.

On July 12^th his new record “Love out of Lemons”, dropped.  He’s actually playing in Sturgis, SD tomorrow night at the Full Throttle Saloon for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and for the whole month of September he’s on tour with another one of my favorite bands, Blackberry Smoke.  For my Texas friends Bones will be at Gruene Hall with the Steel Woods on October 17^th.
