The family, sponsored by Saint Thomas More Catholic Church, was resilient, having fled Vietnam and endured a harrowing journey. Meanwhile, in 1925, alleged safecracker Isadore Edelstein was found guilty of a major heist in Spokane, despite his claims of innocence. His attorney planned to seek a new trial, but the prosecutor intended to file a habitual criminal charge based on his convictions in three different states.
