High school basketball teams in the Greater Spokane League kicked off the season with thrilling non-league games. Ridgelines Madilyn Crowley and Grace Sheridan secured a win, while Clarkstons Preslee Dempsey led the Bantams to victory. Gonzaga Prep maintained their undefeated streak. On the boys side, Central Valleys Orland Axton and Cameron Wells secured a win, and Lewis and Clarks Angus Gehn led the Tigers to victory.
