It’s the #CollegeHockey Scoreboard Show for December 6, 2024. Big full Friday of action with 44 games on the schedule. There’s  no analysis, no breakdowns, it’s JUST. THE. SCORES. Let’s roll. 

In the Big Ten, Wisconsin stunned top-ranked Michigan State 4-0 in Madison behind two goals from Quinn Finley. It’s just Michigan State’s second loss of the season, in what wasn’t a good night for Top 10 teams. Guys were hopped up on that BadgerMax - Elixir of Might. 

Seventh-ranked Western Michigan edged No. 2 Denver 3-2 at Lawson, with Tim Washe scoring his seventh of the year and Cameron Rowe making 29 saves. 

In Hockey East, No. 14 UMass Lowell skated to a 3-3 tie with No. 3 Boston College and won the shootout thanks to two goals from Mirko Buttazzoni. No. 4 Minnesota rolled over No. 6 Michigan 6-0 in Minneapolis, with Matthew Wood scoring twice and Connor Kurth adding his ninth of the season. In non-conference play, No. 10 Providence got past No. 8 Colorado College 4-3, with Tomas Machu netting his first goal of the year. 

Omaha topped No. 9 St. Cloud State 4-3 in overtime on Sam Stange’s seventh goal of the season. No. 12 Cornell prevailed over Colgate 3-2 in overtime, with Charlie Major scoring his first of the year. St. Lawrence upset No. 13 Dartmouth 3-2 behind a game-winning goal from Nicholas Benetau. 

No. 15 Minnesota State continued its hot streak with a 4-1 win over Bowling Green, extending its unbeaten run to 10 games. In the NCHC, No. 16 North Dakota staged a dramatic rally, scoring twice in the final 90 seconds to defeat Miami 5-4. No. 17 Ohio State completed a sweep of Penn State with a 4-2 win, highlighted by goals from Riley Thompson and Max Montes. No. 18 Quinnipiac beat RPI 3-1 with Travis Treloar scoring his sixth of the season. 

No. 19 Arizona State secured its fourth straight win by defeating Minnesota-Duluth 5-3. No. 20 Clarkson improved to 10-5-2 with a 4-3 win over Harvard, thanks to a two-goal performance by Ayrton Martino. 

Bentley topped Mercyhurst 4-2, Holy Cross blanked AIC 1-0, Niagara edged Air Force 3-2 in overtime, Robert Morris dominated RIT 7-3, Sacred Heart defeated Canisius 4-2, Bemidji State beat Lake Superior State 4-2, Ferris State topped Northern Michigan 3-1, Michigan Tech got past St. Thomas 2-1, Princeton defeated Union 2-1, New Hampshire downed Northeastern 5-3, Merrimack beat Alaska-Anchorage 4-2, Augustana handled Alaska 3-1 in the Alaska Test, which was delayed by about 30 seconds, and LIU edged Vermont 3-2. Check their Pairwise. I don’t care if it’s early December. 

On the women’s side, No. 1 Wisconsin held off Minnesota State 2-1 behind goals from Kirsten Simms and Caroline Harvey. No. 3 Minnesota cruised past St. Thomas 5-0 with two goals each from Abbey Murphey and Josefin Bouveng. No. 4 Minnesota-Duluth and No. 8 St. Cloud State skated to a 1-1 tie, with Duluth taking the shootout after stellar performances from goaltenders Eve Gascon and Sanni Ahola. 

No. 6 Clarkson overcame Dartmouth 5-3 with late goals from Haley Winn and Jenna Goodwin. Holy Cross upset No. 10 Boston College 2-1 in overtime on Alexia Moreau’s fifth of the season. No. 11 St. Lawrence jumped to a 4-0 lead and beat Harvard 4-2, with Abby Hustler and Taylor Lum both scoring their sixth of the season. No. 12 Penn State defeated Mercyhurst 4-2 behind two goals from Maddy Christian, who now has 14 on the season. 

No. 13 Boston University topped Maine 3-1 with Riley Walsh scoring her fifth of the year. No. 14 Yale beat Union 3-1 as Anna Bargman scored her fifth of the season. No. 15 UConn rallied with two third-period goals to beat New Hampshire 2-1. RIT routed Lindenwood 9-4, Syracuse beat Robert Morris 4-1, RPI topped Brown 4-1, Vermont defeated Merrimack 2-1, Assumption edged Stonehill 2-1, Post shut out Sacred Heart 3-0, and Franklin Pierce blanked St. Michael’s 5-0.
