Story Transcript:

El: Στο μέσον του Φθινοπώρου, ο ήλιος ακόμη λάμπει στην Αθήνα.
En: In the middle of autumn, the sun still shines in Athina.

El: Στο μικρό καφέ κοντά στον Παρθενώνα, ο Θάνος και η Έλενα κάθονται σ' ένα τραπέζι, γεμάτο βιβλία και σημειώσεις.
En: In the small café near the Parthenon, Thanos and Elena sit at a table, filled with books and notes.

El: Ο αέρας μυρίζει καφέ και οι φωνές των επισκεπτών ανακατεύονται με το θρόισμα των φθινοπωρινών φύλλων.
En: The air smells of coffee, and the voices of visitors mingle with the rustling of autumn leaves.

El: Ο Θάνος, με το βλέμμα του καρφωμένο στις σημειώσεις του, είναι αποφασισμένος.
En: Thanos, with his gaze fixed on his notes, is determined.

El: "Πρέπει να είμαστε έτοιμοι για την εξεταστική," λέει με αυτοπεποίθηση.
En: "We need to be ready for the exams," he says confidently.

El: Μέσα του όμως νιώθει άγχος.
En: However, inside he feels anxious.

El: Το φιλοσοφικό ερώτημα της αρετής και της ευτυχίας, φαίνεται δύσκολο.
En: The philosophical question of virtue and happiness seems challenging.

El: Η Έλενα, δίπλα του, προσπαθεί να συγκεντρωθεί, αλλά το μυαλό της ταξιδεύει.
En: Elena, next to him, tries to concentrate, but her mind drifts.

El: Από μακριά, ακούγεται μουσική από την παρέλαση της ημέρας του Όχι.
En: From afar, music from the parade of the 'Ochi' Day can be heard.

El: "Θάνο, αντί να μελετάμε, δεν βγαίνουμε λίγο να δούμε την γιορτή;
En: "Thanos, instead of studying, why don't we go out for a bit and see the celebration?"

El: "Ο Θάνος σταματά, κοιτάζοντας την Έλενα.
En: Thanos stops, looking at Elena.

El: Ξέρει ότι μία μικρή ανάπαυλα ίσως τους κάνει καλό.
En: He knows that a little break might do them good.

El: "Αν μελετήσουμε λίγο ακόμη, και μετά βγούμε για ένα διάλειμμα;
En: "If we study a bit more and then go for a break?"

El: "Η Έλενα χαμογελάει.
En: Elena smiles.

El: "Καλή ιδέα.
En: "Good idea.

El: Θα μας βοηθήσει να συγκεντρωθούμε ξανά.
En: It will help us to concentrate again."

El: "Κοιτώντας τον Παρθενώνα, ο Θάνος συνειδητοποιεί ότι ίσως υπάρχει σοφία στο να αφήνει κάποιος λίγο χρόνο για χαρά.
En: Looking at the Parthenon, Thanos realizes that there might be wisdom in allowing some time for joy.

El: Καθώς οι ώρες περνούν, οι δύο φίλοι ενώνουν τις δυνάμεις τους να μελετήσουν, η θέαση του γιορτινού πλήθους ενθαρρύνει το πνεύμα τους.
En: As the hours pass, the two friends combine their efforts to study, and the sight of the festive crowd encourages their spirits.

El: Μετά από λίγο, σηκώνονται και βαδίζουν προς την γιορτή, μαζί με τα υπόλοιπα χαρούμενα προσωπά.
En: After a while, they get up and walk towards the celebration, alongside other happy faces.

El: Τραγοῦν τα παραδοσιακά τραγούδια και γελούν.
En: They sing traditional songs and laugh.

El: Πίσω στο καφέ, νιώθουν ανανεωμένοι.
En: Back at the café, they feel refreshed.

El: Με το αίσθημα της ευτυχίας ακόμη μέσα τους, επιστρέφουν στα βιβλία.
En: With the sense of happiness still within them, they return to their books.

El: Αυτή τη φορά, οι σημειώσεις μοιάζουν πιο κατανοητές.
En: This time, the notes seem more understandable.

El: Ο Θάνος, εν τέλει, καταλαβαίνει πως τελικά η ισορροπία είναι η βασική αρετή τόσο στη ζωή όσο και στη μελέτη.
En: Thanos, in the end, understands that balance is the fundamental virtue in both life and study.

El: Η Έλενα του ρίχνει ένα ευχαριστημένο βλέμμα.
En: Elena gives him a satisfied look.

El: "Είχαμε δίκιο, φίλε μου," λέει.
En: "We were right, my friend," she says.

El: Και εκεί, περιτριγυρισμένοι από τις φθινοπωρινές μυρωδιές και την γιορτινή ατμόσφαιρα, είναι έτοιμοι για την επερχόμενη πρόκληση της φιλοσοφίας.
