Description
This episode follows the story of the Joshua leading the Israelites on their conquest of Canaan. The episode describes the Israelites not as slaves, but as a warrior class within Egypt. It uses the Bible and historical documents as a main source of material but almost all the discussion of the wars of Joshau hinges on the identification of the Hebrews with the mysterious Habiru. Then further to specify that the city of jericho was brought down with trickery, not with the help of God. What's the truth.
