Description

2 Samuel 7:18&22 “…Who am I, O Sovereign Lord, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far? …How great you are, O Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you. We have never even heard of another God like you!”

From a prophetic standpoint, another thing you should expect, even in the remaining days of this year is that, After The Deep Darkness Comes The Bright Light. It means that for those whose experience thus far can best be described as deep darkness. In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, bright light is shining forth now. Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes when? In the morning. In other words, your morning has come. Do you receive that? God said to me that, “By now, you should understand that I Am Sovereign”. So, expect to experience and understand The Sovereignty Of God. As the year draws to a close, understand that God is sovereign. The basics of faith is that God is sovereign. He does not consult us to do things.

And when He does things, we cannot question Him. There are certain things that are outside of your jurisdiction. Do not break your head over them. Do not sweat it. Let God be God. Realize that God is God, and you are not. Don’t you know that God has a mind of His own? Even toddlers have a mind of their own. It is as if they are waiting for you to tell them to do something, so that they can say, “No!” It is as if they are using you to practice how to say, “No!” So, I flip the script on my toddler. I say, “You are not going to eat this food.” “No, I will eat it”, he responds, and I laugh. If you had said, “You will eat this food”, his response would have been, “No, I am not eating it”. And it would be war. So, I say, “You are not eating this food”, “No, I want this food”, “Okay, fine, have it then”. God is God and we are not.

Sometimes, we get it twisted, because of the principles of God. While the principles of God help us get the predictable. The sovereignty of God positions us for the unimaginable. The sovereignty of God positions us for the things that eyes have not seen, things that ears have not heard, and things that have not even entered into the heart of man. God said, “Jacob have I loved, Esau have I hated.” People are still arguing about that today. Pastor, why did God love and prefer Jacob to Esau? I have an issue with that. You do? Do you know how many times people have come to me really fuming and upset? Did God not say He was the one who hardened Pharaoh’s heart? How can He still destroy Pharoah? I say, “Well, I am not God. Please ask Him when you see Him.”

Prayer: Father, I declare in the Name of Jesus that because the sovereignty of God speaks for me, bright light has come into every area of my life, in Jesus Name. Amen!
