That said, recently I connected with Chris Owens, Head of IndyCar Photography inside the Media Centre at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. I first met Chris 5 years ago at the St. Petersburg IndyCar Grand Prix, and since, have followed his career. Ahead of this year's Indy 500, Chris took some time with me to discuss his job inside IndyCar, how he became the youngest ever IndyCar Head of Photography, and he shares behind-the-scenes moments of what really happens the big day to capture the winning Indy 500 shot.
