Dr. Ruth Gotian is an accomplished author and social scientist. She wrote The Success Factor: Developing the Mindset and Skillset for Peak Business Performance and her second book, The Financial Times Guide to Mentoring was just released in the United States. 

Ruth and I shared a mentor when we were working on our PhDs and our mutual admiration is off the charts. In this episode, she’ll explain why mentorship is important, as well as how to be a good mentor and good mentee.
