Description

How can we improve conflict reporting so that it fosters empathy, recognizes the humanity and agency of those affected, and supports peacebuilding? Meenal Thakur, Sara El-Khalili and Yasmina Al-Gannabi address these questions in this episode of the b° future podcast – your podcast for journalism and constructive dialogue, brought to you by the Bonn Insitute.

Meenal Thakur is a solutions journalism trainer and program manager at Transitions, a Prague-based media development non-profit.  Sara El-Khalili is the head of operations at Egab, which connects media outlets with high-quality stories from local journalists in the Global South. And Yasmina Al-Gannabi is an audience development manager and trainer at Deutsche Welle, Germany’s international public broadcaster.
