Beyond the Books is a podcast from the School of Literatures, Languages, and Cultures (LLC) at the University of Edinburgh that gives you a behind-the-scenes look at research and the people who make it happen. This episode features Katie Hawthorne, a fourth year PhD candidate in European Theatre and German, where we discuss the final stages of her research and the impact of COVID-19 on the theatre industry. This episode was recorded via skype with some significant technical issues, and before the murder of George Floyd.
