Beyond the Covid19 crisis: Going from Efficiency to Resiliency and Creativity

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what’s happening with efficiency, and how – due to the disruptive forces of Covid19 and this extraordinary acceleration towards digital that it has also created- many organisations have started shifting from the traditional focus on using technology to increase efficiency and productivity towards a new pursuit of resilience, agility and creativity. In these times of rapid change, being able to reinvent and then, to pivot, is becoming mission critical – being efficient with the wrong thing leads to disaster.
Examples of ‘digital‘ pivoting during this crisis include AirBnB (even though they still have a long way to go), Thailand, and of course the U.S. and the Biden Administration (a gigantic series of pivots that I anticipated in August 2020). Read more about pivoting via Entrepreneur.com.
