Binance Gains ADGM Approval, Embraces Traditional Finance
Update: 2025-12-08
Description
Binance, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has secured a major authorization from Abu Dhabi Global Markets (ADGM), enabling it to operate under a comprehensive framework for exchange, clearing, and brokerage services within ADGMs special economic zone. This approval marks a significant step for Binance, signaling a shift towards more conventional financial structures. The companys operations in ADGM will be divided into three regulated entities, each operating under the brand name Nest, and overseen by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. These entities include Nest Exchange for spot and derivatives trading, Nest Clearing and Custody for clearing, settlement, and asset safeguarding, and Nest Trading as a broker-dealer for off-exchange and over-the-counter activities. This structure aligns Binance with global market standards and demonstrates its commitment to compliance, transparency, and user protection.
