The theme of this week’s episode of Mayor of Kingstown is paranoia. Is Frank Moses playing a long game and setting Bunny up for failure? Is the Warden playing an even longer game and hoping her secret connections will protect her? Is Mike’s new friend/lover/it’s complicated Cindy getting close to Mike for her own nefarious ends? Is Robert pretending to go along with Ian to hide that he’s secretly working with the courts to set up his own deal? (Answer for that last one: no. There is something wrong with Robert, and it seems to be getting worse.) Meanwhile Ian is kidding himself if he thinks he can murder his troubles away, and Mike is kidding himself if he thinks he can keep anybody safe.







Over on Star Trek: Lower Decks, Mariner, Tendi, and T’lynn are stuck for a startling amount of time planetside. Mariner spends most of it in jail, Tendi completely loses the plot, and T’lynn sciences the shit out of everything. (PSA: Beverages are not allowed in the transporter room. Don’t make me tell you twice.)
