A milestone for Gibraltar’s Catholic community: ‘Father Charlie’ was ordained as Bishop Azzopardi at Victoria Stadium. We heard more from our reporter Claire Hernandez, who was there.
In sport, a landmark moment: Gibraltar becomes the 50th member of Rugby Europe, opening the door to new competitions and recognition. We had a full sports roundup with Jose Mari Ruiz, and we were also joined by Gibraltar Rugby CEO Chad Thomson and President Stephen Payas.
And, the Gibraltar Heritage Trust begins a new chapter, as Chair Ian Balestrino steps down after two voluntary terms.
