In the summer of 1988, reports of a scaly, humanoid creature known as the "Lizard Man” began to pour out of the murky swamplands surrounding the small town of Bishopville, South Carolina. As residents came forward telling of their frightening encounters, the local sheriff and the media became involved in what would become one of the most documented and bizarre monster mystery cases in modern history.
