Black, Male...& Gay
Update: 2010-11-21
Description
Although openly gay individuals have been pushed to the forefront in the flap regarding the issue of gay marriage African-American males who are gay are even less accepted as their white counterparts across the country. Being a black man who is gay is still very much unacceptable in the community. This gives rise to the "down-low" lifestyle which in-turn can lead to a rise in the number of HIV & AIDS cases among African-American females. RealTalkNation discusses being black, male and gay in America with special guest Rev. Tommie Watkins, an openly gay African American ordained Baptist minister.
