By registering the iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF in Delaware, theyve initiated the process often followed by companies aiming to create new exchange-traded funds, particularly for cryptocurrencies. This move comes as other companies have already launched similar Ethereum staking ETFs in the US. BlackRock had previously requested changes to its existing iShares Ethereum Trust to allow for staking, indicating their intent to receive staking rewards and treat them as income for the trust.
