From the earliest records of the Altered States of Initiations Rituals, to the laws of Moses against Amalek, to Persian physician Avicenna’s description of the hypnotic state circa 980–1037 A.D., to Paracelsus’ work with magnetism in the early 1500s, to Scottish surgeon James Braid’s differentiation of magnetism and hypnosis in 1841, to the Nancy School of Hypnosis founded in 1866, to the Paris School of Hypnosis founded in 1882, to the rise of Sigmund Freud’s School of Psychoanalysis, to the new media of radio, to Orson Welles’s 1938 radio drama of H.G. Wells’s War of the Worlds, to the start of World War II in 1939, the host examines the weaponization of mass media psychological warfare that was able to once again convince millions of Amalek that they must once again take up arms against Amalek.
