I’ve always wanted to record an audiobook of the Book of Mormon. I know there are many recordings of the Book of Mormon, and I’ve probably heard most of them. But I wanted to do something a little different with this than you’ll find in most (not that you’ll be able to tell from the title page very much). I wanted to record a version of the Book of Mormon where the words are read with feeling—the way I hear them in my head when I read. I want my children to know how I feel about the Book of Mormon, the Savior, and the prophets of the past by the way I read.

Elder Richard G. Scott did something similar for his children. I was inspired by his example, and decided to do the same. I hope others can benefit from it, too.
