Hour 1

Sam Darnold went back to his NY Jets days with his performance last night in the loss to the Rams. He held on to the ball way too long and took too many sacks. He threw a pick and fumbled a ball that was returned for a TD. ‘Sam Darnold peed himself in the biggest moment’ according to Gio. And now it looks like the Vikings will turn to JJ McCarthy next season and Darnold will go elsewhere. Gio is very annoyed today and Boomer is getting under his skin. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with Kevin Harlan on the call as Darnold fumbles and it’s returned for a TD. The Vikings play-by-play guy, Paul Allen, was furious at Darnold for not getting rid of the ball. Mike McCarthy is out in Dallas and there is mutual interest between the Cowboys and Deion Sanders. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Ravens at Bills and Boomer thought Lamar Jackson looked great last week. Boomer didn’t understand the Vikings celebrating after the Green Bay game. They went way over the top in celebrating Darnold. Then he was terrible against Detroit and now L.A.
Hour 2

Mike McCarthy and the Dallas Cowboys have parted ways and there’s mutual interest between Deion Sanders and Jerry Jones. Gio thinks Kellen Moore will be the Cowboys head coach. Which head coaching jobs in the NFL are most coveted? Gio would take Mike McCarthy to the Jets to stabilize the franchise. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the poor performance of Sam Darnold in last night’s loss to the Rams. A few weeks back, Colin Cowherd wondered if you’d rather have Darnold or Lamar Jackson. That didn’t age well. Robert Kraft introduced Mike Vrabel to the media. Stephen A. Smith talked about Zion Williamson’s not so great career. Chris Rose and Nick Castellanos debated whether Jose Iglesias was the real MVP last season. In the final segment of the hour, we talked more about Sam Darnold’s poor performance last night. They went 14-2 in the regular season but he looked terrible against Detroit and last night against the Rams.
Hour 3

Former Patriot Vince Wilfork is in the studio and we start with Jerod Mayo getting fired and Mike Vrabel getting hired by the team. We talked about the importance of having a quarterback and he believes they have one with Drake Maye. We talked about Bill Belichick going to North Carolina. Vince thought the Giants would have been interested in Belichick. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Buck & Aikman wondering if the Vikings knew they were running out of time since they had no sense of urgency. An A-I version of Jerry Jones gave reasons for why Mike McCarthy isn’t coming back. In the final segment of the hour, Gio said Boomer gets all jacked up when another former player comes into the studio. He tried to lift Wilfork up and was able to get him off his feet. Who has the best defense left in the playoffs? Boomer thinks it’s the Eagles then the Chiefs.
Hour 4

We started the hour talking about the Vikings loss to the Rams and somehow got on the topic of famous people with ‘butt’ chins. A caller has a question for Boomer about the women on the show, ‘Landman’. We took calls on celebrities with ‘butt’ chins. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Rams beating the Vikings. Matthew Stafford talked about getting the win in the difficult week it’s been for the people in L.A. Sam Darnold talked about not playing well the last two weeks. Bo Nix met the media to talk about his rookie year. Russell Wilson wants to be back with the Steelers next year. The Moment of The Day: Gio asks Vince Wilfork about Tom Brady as a broadcaster. In the final segment of the hour, Brandon Tierney comes in during the commercial and wants Gio to be fired up for St. John’s vs Georgetown. The Vikings just got whacked in the Wild Card so Gio’s not fired up for anything.
