He’s spoken to hundreds of his friends, family and associates, as well as to the man himself. Gimson joins Christopher Hope in the Red Lion pub to talk about how Boris Johnson’s early signs of ambition manifested themselves in his determination to play the piano at school, what it was like working under him at The Spectator and why he was offered a six figure sum to stop writing his book by the incoming PM.
