WBC Latin Silver Belt champion - Tyrone “El Bombero” Buttigieg made history this weekend by beating Venezuela’s Ernesto Martinez in San Roque. In his first-ever ten-round match, Tyrone’s grit and skill saw him win by unanimous decision. Tyrone brought his belt to Broadcasting House and spoke of his hopes for the future.
Jose Mari Ruiz was a spectator at the fight, but also spoke about the rest of the local sport from the weekend.
