Description

There is a huge disconnect between the history and culture of Africa due to the Trans-Atlantic slave trade and our ancestry records being compromised. Although we have museums, artifacts, and other sources, it's best to reach out to our distant relatives to bridge the gap. My guest, Olasunkanmi (Kanmi for short) from Lagos, Nigeria, West Africa joins the podcast to discuss growing up in Nigeria, the End SARS movement, the stereotypes of Africans and what he thought of Black Panther and the lack of open-mindedness of Black Americans.
