Brian Gionta
Description
On this episode of the Hockey Family Podcast, we were joined by Brian Gionta. "Gio" was a Stanley Cup Champion, two-time Olympian, and played over 1,000 NHL regular season games throughout his 16-year career. Brian served as captain for seven NHL seasons, as well as wore the "C" while representing team USA at the 2018 Winter Olympics. He broke into the NHL as an undersized guy, and left a lasting legacy as an amazing leader, competitor, and most importantly, family man. We were lucky enough to ask Gio for the best advice he ever received for his hockey game, his financial pursuits, and for life in general.
Brian and his family now reside in his hometown of Rochester, New York, where he loves spending time with family, coaching his kid's youth sports, and supports the Boys & Girls Clubs across western New York. We hope you enjoy the episode, and please do not hesitate to reach out to us at hockeywealth.com should you ever have questions.
