Malena, originally from Germany, has lived in multiple countries, gaining hands-on wildlife experience and diverse cultural insights on sustainability. She has actively participated in whale research, driven by a deep personal connection to these animals and a passion for exploring human-nature relationships. Through her multidisciplinary work—academic, artistic, and personal—she seeks to bridge knowledge systems and challenge anthropocentric approaches in conservation.
