In this episode, I discuss with Lyle Fabian the founder of an indigenous internet service provider Katlotech Communications. Lyle has been building and operating 1200 km of community-based open-access networks in the far north of Canada since 2009. Lyle discusses with us the importance of community-based networks and how they are essential to allowing indigenous contribution to the economy, helping us protect our environment, create innovation opportunities and lead to better reconciliation outcomes. Lyle explains to us his strategy and business model and what his goals are.
