In this episode, I'm talking with Ash Shah, MD of World Products, an e-commerce consultancy working with healthcare companies to make sure their message and products get out to the world via the latest technological platforms.
Ash's introduction into business was helping his mother one summer, with a venture that was literally run out of their garage. It went so well that he ended up working there permanently and, over time, he realised that there was much more to be made out of online selling. Over the next couple of years, he turned this garage business into one with a turnover of over £2m. (UPDATE - since our recording, the business is now turning over £8m per annum)
Seeing that he was pretty good at this e-commerce stuff, he then started doing it for other people. Not bad, bearing in mind that he's still only 27 (26 at the time of recording).
In our conversation, we cover such topics as:
- the importance of just going out there and trying things
- how we only really see the successes of others without appreciating the work that's gone on before; and
- the importance of the abundant mindset
All in all, this is a great conversation around focus, good habits and positive mindsets.
