Description

The Denver Broncos have re-signed offensive tackle Marques Cox to their practice squad, replacing cornerback Reese Taylor who was promoted to the active roster. Cox, a six-foot-five, three hundred five-pound lineman, has played for the Kentucky Wildcats and has drawn interest from the Broncos due to his size and length. However, his footwork and body control can be an issue, and he might be considered for an inside guard position. The Broncos are not looking to sign veteran wide receiver Brandin Cooks, despite his history with head coach Sean Payton, as they are satisfied with their current receiving group, led by second-year player Troy Franklin.
