After 30 years on the Hokies staff, Defensive Coordinator Bud Foster has become a Blacksburg institution. His “Lunch Pail Defense” is a symbol of hard work, preparation and dedication, qualities that Bud personifies for his players year-in, year-out. Jon Laaser and Mike Burnop get Bud’s take on this year’s defense, and how he perceives the offense coming along under Head Coach Justin Fuente’s new system. Then, Andrew Allegretta gets a view of the defense from safety Chuck Clark, last season’s leader in tackles.
